Machine learning is now widely used in the scientific researches, and has demonstrated its great success in HEP. I will introduce the basic idea and technique of the machine learning. Then, I will discuss how Deep Learning could be used to help our quest for new physics at the LHC.

主讲人介绍：

武雷，南京师范大学教授，2013年毕业于中国科学院理论物理研究所；2013-2017年在悉尼大学从事博士后研究工作。2017-现在，南京师范大学任教，理论物理所所长。已发表学术论文70余篇，研究成果得到了理论和实验同行的广泛引用，论文总被引用2900余次。目前研究兴趣主要包括：TeV物理和暗物质唯象学。
